The New Roxbury Land Trust Inc., is a private, local, nonprofit organization in northeastern Connecticut. It was created in 1999 to preserve open space; protect agricultural lands, forests, natural resources and wildlife habitats; and encourage the use of conservation easements and rights of way in the towns of Woodstock, Eastford, Pomfret, Putnam, Thompson and Union. The Trust is staffed entirely by volunteers.
The Trust is a member of the Land Trust Alliance and subscribes to its Standards and Practices.
Help us preserve the rural character of northeastern Connecticut and become a member today!
If you would like to discuss making a gift of land with one of our board members, please contact us.
